Refund, Cancellation & Payment Policy

This Refund, Cancellation & Payment Policy governs all payments made on www.matrimom.com (“Matrimom”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By purchasing any paid membership or service, you agree to this policy.

1. Nature of Digital Services

Matrimom provides digital matrimonial services including profile visibility, communication access, and premium features. These services are considered delivered immediately upon successful activation of membership.

Matrimom does not guarantee marriage, match response, compatibility, or successful outcomes. Payment is for platform access and service features only.

2. Payment Methods

We may accept payments through secure third-party gateways including UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, wallets, or other supported payment methods.

All transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. Matrimom does not store your card details.

3. Pricing & Taxes

• All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR).
• Applicable taxes (including GST, if applicable) may be included or added at checkout.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time without prior notice.
• A valid invoice may be provided upon request.

4. Refund Policy

All payments made for membership or premium services are non-refundable, except in the following limited circumstances:

• Duplicate payment due to technical error
• Unauthorized transaction verified by payment gateway investigation
• Service activation failure due to verified technical issue

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of payment to info@matrimom.com with transaction details.

Approved refunds, if any, will be processed within 7–14 working days through the original payment method.

5. No Refund Situations

Refunds will NOT be granted for:

• Lack of match responses
• Personal dissatisfaction
• Account suspension due to policy violation
• Change of mind after purchase
• Failure to use purchased features
• Marriage not finalized
• User disputes with other members

6. Cancellation Policy

Users may cancel their membership at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals (if applicable) but does not entitle refund for the remaining unused period.

7. Subscription & Auto-Renewal (If Applicable)

Some membership plans may automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. By purchasing such plans, you authorize recurring billing.

Users may disable auto-renewal through account settings or by contacting support before the renewal date.

8. Chargeback & Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting support first:

• Your account may be suspended immediately.
• Access to services may be revoked.
• We reserve the right to recover dispute fees and administrative costs.

False chargebacks or fraudulent disputes may result in permanent account termination and legal action where applicable.

9. Fraud Prevention

Matrimom reserves the right to verify transactions and suspend accounts in case of suspected fraud, payment abuse, or suspicious activity.

10. Service Activation

Membership benefits are activated immediately upon successful payment confirmation. Once activated, the digital service is considered delivered.

11. Limitation of Liability

Matrimom shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from payment issues, banking delays, gateway failures, or user negligence.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
